How to play Killball

Killball is a 1-on-1 game. The objective is to hit your enemy's king with the ball, while avoiding your king being hit.

The game takes place over turns. In each turn, each player picks moves for their pieces in secret...

(You might notice - each player gets a preview of what just their move would look like as they decide)

...then once those players confirm, the two sets of moves play out simultaneously.

Players can move one piece per turn for free. If they move more, this costs them Extras.

Players can replenish an Extra by being the first player in a turn to confirm their move.

Players each have one Hero piece, indicated with a sword. These can move faster, hit harder, and shoot the ball quicker than other pieces.

Players cannot defend their king too close or get automatically pushed away, and the ball will automatically get pushed away from the sides.

The game ends when the ball touches either king.
